Umetnostna galerija Maribor (ugm) is one of the central museums od modern art in Slovenia holding a collection of over 3000 works of art by slovenian artists from the end of the 19th century up to the present day. Next to paintings, sculptures and graphics it holds photographic works, multimedia installations, video art and interactive projects. UGM presents the greatest artistic names of slovenian visual arts over the last one hundred years as well as influential happenings in the international art scene, young rising stars of contemporary art as well as research of artistic interpretations of current topics. Providing a greater experience and asking new questions we offer architecture, design, fashion, dance, science and sometimes answers.
We designed some print materials, catalogue and graphics for exhibition International architecture competition European Capital of Culture Drava River 2012.
We were invited to design handwritten typography cover for MMKreativ Magazine issue about Typography. Main interview in this issue was with an icon of graphic design Milton Glaser who designed well known logo for NYC.
Matej Koren has been in 2009 selected to the Jury of the two most prestigious festivals in Slovenia.
